Welcome to Ammanford English Baptist Church
No – you don’t have to be English to be welcome here. The ‘English’ refers to the language in which services are conducted.
Sunday Service is at 11.00 a.m. Communion Service is 1st Sunday of each month. The church worships in a traditional way but is open to new ideas and approaches.
The congregation is small but friendly and welcomes all to join them.
Although Baptist by tradition, the congregation includes people from a number of non-conformist traditions.
The church was set up to cater for the needs of English-speaking miners who moved to the local area when anthracite mines opened in the Amman Valley. (See History)
